UPDATE!

Due to the COVID-19 coronavirus, changes to our  summer camps program have been updated.   Upon due consideration and consultation with our camp partners, CPF Nova Scotia will not be able to offer our usual day and overnight camp options this year.  The health and safety of all our campers, camp staff and families are our main concerns at this time.

However Canadian Parents for French, Nova Scotia is going virtual for an exciting 2020 summer camp season!   Please go to Virtual Camp page for more information on our virtual camp programs for July and August.  Registration is now open.

If you have lost or misplaced your camp confirmation letter, please contact the Branch office, we would be happy to email you a new copy.  Camp reminders will go out by email the week before camp begins. Please provide a valid email on your registration form.

Membership is required to attend a CPF camp.  Join Canadian Parents for French today and take advantage of the benefits that membership brings! Go to www.cpf.ca to become a CPF member now.

Camp Fees

Camp fees cover part of the cost of camp for your child. The balance comes from the NS Education and Early Childhood Education and Canadian Heritage. Membership in Canadian Parents for French is a prerequisite for attending camp, and the non-refundable $25 fee must be paid at the time of application.

Your registration fee includes a travel insurance package and the flights to and from the camp. Parents are responsible for dropping their children off and picking them up from the Halifax Stanfield International Airport at the beginning and end of camp.  Dates and times will be specified in your confirmation letter.

Refunds

Refunds for withdrawal of the student from the camp are possible only if notice is given at least two weeks prior to the starting date of the camp. Canadian Parents for French membership cannot be refunded and a non-refundable registration fee of $25 is included in the cost of camp. No refunds are given for leaving camp early.

Follow-up Information

A confirmation letter of acceptance into the camp is mailed out as soon as the registration is processed along with a receipt if the payment was received in full.
