Canadian Parents for French, Nova Scotia offers cultural grants to communities for French Language activities.

What qualifies?

To qualify for a French in our Communities cultural grant, an event must promote one of the following:

  •  A new or innovative French activity for your community or school.
  • An event or performance that highlights French Second-Language or Francophone culture in an educational setting (i.e. a travelling performer).
  •  A special French Second-Language or Francophone cultural event that is open to the school population and/or general public. When do we qualify?

Applications will be reviewed and processed as soon as possible. Please allow time before your event to receive approval. Please complete the outline of your budget for our records. The cultural grant can be applied from September to June of each school year. Multiple requests will be approved depending upon funds available.
