Canadian Parents for French – Nova Scotia is proud to be offering a FREE ONLINE French Tutoring Program this fall. The 8-week program, in which students can register for a one-hour session with bilingual virtual volunteer tutors to get help with French homework to help them improve their French writing, reading and/or conversational skills, is starting soon! This program helps kids gain extra practice outside the classroom and is meant for French Second Language learners.

The program will be for children 6 to 14 years of age and will run from October 19 to Dec 18, 2020.  Volunteer tutors are available from Monday through Sundays, daytime and evenings to support students.

Families can enroll a maximum of three kids. Registration is limited, spaces will be offered on a first come first served basis.

Must be a current CPF Member to register.  If you aren’t already a member you can sign up by visiting the national CPF website: www.cpf.ca. Membership is FREE until March 31st, 2021.

Each child enrolled in the program will receive one hour a week session with our volunteer tutors. These sessions help build confidence when speaking French. Each child will work with volunteers from across Canada and newcomers to Canada from various Francophone countries thus exposing the kids to a variety of French accents and new aspects of Canadian and worldly Francophone culture.
